Kimberlee resides in the San Diego area with her husband
and two boys. She is a U.S. Army veteran, a full time graphic
designer and moonlights as a cover designer. She is the

KIMBERLEE R. MENDOZA
She is the 2006 recipient of the “Sherwood Eliot Wirt Writer of the Year Award.” She leads
the Spring Valley Critique Group and is on the San Diego Christian Writer’s Guild Board.  
She also an active member of the American Christian Fiction Writer's Guild, Christians In
Theatre Arts, and The Writer's View 2.She has been directing drama teams and teaching
acting for over twenty years which has led to publishing the non-fiction book,

Development from San Diego Christian College and has her MA in Humanities with an
emphasis in literature and playwriting from California State University Dominguez Hills.
